Mission

Providing financial assistance for families of children hospitalized with Congenital Heart Disease and educating the public about CHD.

About

Jeffrey, like one out of every hundred children born in the United States, was born with Congenital Heart Defect or CHD. While still a small child, Jeffrey underwent surgery to temporarily repair the heart until he was old enough to handle a more invasive surgery. One Jeffrey reached the age of 15, he underwent open heart surgery to better correct the problem. Once news was out, neighbors and businesses began sending messages and support of care. While overhearing his parents discussing the high cost of living next to the hospital for a week and learning that families without the means had to live in the waiting room. Jeffrey decided it was time to do something to help these families in need, while they face their worst fears.

“I have been blessed to lead JHH for the last four years and into the future. 50 kids later, I hope that what we do has been able to make an impact.”
